IMA Financial Group is seeking a Carrier Payable Specialist to join our team in Wichita, KS. This position is responsible for assisting the insurance carrier payable's function.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the insurance carrier accounts payable function for all locations' operations, including but not limited to :
Reconcile billing statements
Process and make payments to insurance carriers for premiums owed by IMA clientsAct as a resource to internal teams on processes and guidelines to be followed, ensuring proper processing of carrier invoicesFiling and other administrative tasksCommunicate with key internal and external stakeholdersProcess electronic paymentsHelp with Accounting Department as neededInteract professionally and timely with clients via email and phonePerform functions of the role within an IMA office more than 50% of the timeSupport and demonstrate IMA's core valuesValue and understand the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA AssociatesRequired Skills & Experience
Six months to two years of similar or related experience requiredExperience with MS Office products required (specifically Outlook and Excel)High-level organization and attention to detail requiredAbility to strictly follow processes and proceduresStrong customer service skills, including courtesy, tact and diplomacyCompetent with math, ten-key and basic accounting skillsBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experienceBenefits
