Why we need you :
The Area Director will assist the Regional Manager and / or Sr. Regional Manager in supervising and monitoring operational goals for each community in their region.
Responsibilities
What your day to day might look like :
Assist with weekly, daily, monthly inspections of communities to ensure excellent curb appealAssist with regular inspections of vacant and made ready unitsTrain and assist new associates in operational policy and procedureTrain and assist new and current associates on budget control log and policiesCommunicates regularly and effectively with Regional Manager and / or Senior Regional Manager to provide updates on regional issuesAssist in the preparation of the Regional Manager quarterly Community Inspection ReportAnswers all incoming calls and responds to all resident complaints in a timely manner, informs Regional Manager and / or Senior Regional Manager of the resolutionAssist in monitoring Renter’s Insurance requirements for communities in the regionAssist in reviewing the Budget Control Log and Anticipated Financial WorksheetAssist in communication with vendors regarding on-site issuesAssist in reviews of Market Surveys to ensure consistency throughout regionGather and review Monthly Statement reviews from Community DirectorsAssist in review and monitoring of Yardi Validations.Assist Community Directors in preparation for monthly closeAssists in reviewing payables prior to submission to Corporate OfficeMay be assigned to work at site level during an absence of site personnel as necessaryPerforms other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager and / or Senior Regional ManagerTravel and overnight stays are required.Qualifications

High school education or equivalent - college degree preferredIndustry accreditations preferred - CAM or CAPSThree (3) years of previous property management experienceMust be able to operate personal computer and have knowledge of MS Office propducts and other apartment management softwareUp to 80% local travel / up to 10% travel outside assigned market#CORP
