• Previous charge experience preferred
• Experience with a patient ratio of 4-5
• Required charting system experience

Description :

Seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for night shifts.

Flexible shift options are available depending on traveler preference.

The contract length can be tailored to 8, 10, or 13 weeks.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and at least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience.

Preferred certifications include ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP.

Strong skills in the administration of medications, patient care, and support during labor and delivery are essential.

Experience with neonatal care and breastfeeding support is important.

Responsibilities include monitoring fetal heart rates, assisting with deliveries, and providing postpartum care.

Comfort with various medical procedures and protocols related to labor and delivery is required.

The unit supports a patient population that includes neonates, adolescents, and adults.

Daily census varies and may include managing between 4-8 patients.

Interdisciplinary support is available, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Candidates should embody a commitment to quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
