We are currently looking for a Hardware Engineer II to work on developing products using core Hardware and Electrical and Electronic engineering skills.

As a Hardware Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will contribute to hardware design from concept to production, collaborate on requirements, design complex systems, perform testing, and support junior engineers. You will report directly to our Senior Hardware Engineer Supervisor and you'll work out of our Fort Washington, PA location.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

• Work in a global team with responsibilities and ownership for Electrical design in Value Engineering (VE) and Component Engineering (CE).
• Design & development experience in Field Instruments like Industrial Pressure Transmitters, Temperature transmitters, Mercury Instruments, Industrial Measuring & Control Instruments
• The responsibilities include schematic development, circuit analysis, component selection, detailed design, verification testing, arriving inference from the test results and interfacing with cross functional / support teams (such as mechanical, manufacturing process, simulation, drafting, ECAD, evaluation, marketing, supply chain and external test labs).
• The candidate will be working along with various teams such as design, simulation, drafting, evaluation, manufacturing, marketing, and supply chain.
• Additional responsibilities include technical report generation, documentation, and progress reporting.
• It is also expected that the candidate would develop technical expertise in the product lines quickly to develop VE / CE ideas.
• Candidates are expected to have good knowledge in Electronics design with the ability to use this knowledge on VE / CE ideation.
• Proven record of design delivery in a New Product Introduction (NPI) team for at least 4-8 years.
