CFS is working again with a great client looking to hire a Controller with experience in grant management and general accounting functions.

Responsibilities of Controller :

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Manage grant accounting, compliance, and reporting to ensure adherence to federal, state, and private funding requirements
  • Prepare, review, and submit timely financial reports for grant funders, auditors, and leadership
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
  • Coordinate annual audits, 990 filings, and serve as liaison with external auditors and funding agencies

    • Preferred Skillsets of Controller :

  • Previous experience in non-profit or grant accounting
  • Familiarity with accounting software systems
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Detail-oriented with a collaborative, team-first approach

    • Salary : $110k-$120k
