About The Position

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPR preferred

2 years current experience in an ER setting

Experience with charting systems, preferably Cerner

Ability to manage a patient ratio of 4-5

Description :

This position is for a registered nurse specializing in the emergency room.

The nurse will provide care for patients with a range of conditions.

It is essential to have strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Patients may include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Daily census can range from 120 to 180 patients.

The unit supports various interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory services and social services.

The nurse may be required to float within the hospital or to other hospitals in the system as needed.

Certifications must remain current and valid throughout employment.

There is a weekend requirement of working every other weekend or two weekends per month.

Travelers are expected to address any time off requests directly with management upon arrival.
