Job Description :

Wesley Medical Center is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a 13-week assignment. This is a night shift role offering a supportive team environment, well-structured unit, and opportunities to grow professionally.

Unit Details :

Beds : 14

Staffing Ratio : 1 : 4

Staff Mix : RNs and PCTs

Documentation System : Meditech

Equipment Used : Chest tubes, IV pumps, drains

Scheduling : Every other weekend

Floating Required : Yes - must float to other units if needed

Required Qualifications :

• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (must-have)
• Strong knowledge of :

Medication drips

• Central lines
• Post heart cath recovery
• EMR experience with Meditech preferred
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Team player and patient-centered mindset

Preferred :

• Experience in non-invasive patient care procedures
• Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate across departments
