We are seeking a professional and caring Psychiatrist to join our team! In this role, you will conduct psychological exams and testing, diagnose and treat psychological disorders, and assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors through the use of psychotherapeutic methods and medicine. If you are an experienced Psychiatrist passionate about providing high-quality care, we want to hear from you!
This is a part time position which could turn into full time. We are a growing business and are expanding to meet the needs of our clients and provide them with support. We are flexible on schedule and are willing to work with what schedule or hours work best for you. Starting pay / salary is negotiable and dependent upon experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate mental health conditionsIdentify psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns and provide diagnosesCreate individualized treatment plans for each clientPrescribe psychotherapeutic management, including prescribing and monitoring medications for patientsDeliver therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to support patient recoveryMaintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information, progress, treatment plans, and all medication informationCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective treatment outcomesEducate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to the development of best practices in behavioral healthDevelop and oversee other team members within the Psychiatry department such as PMHNP providers or medical assistantsQualifications
MD or DO from an accredited US-based medical schoolCurrent medical license and certification from the American Board of Medical Specialists (ABMS)Deep knowledge of various psychotherapeutic methods and a strong understanding of medication management for various psychiatric disordersExperience in clinical setting with a focus on geriatrics and PTSD care preferredStrong therapeutic skills, particularly in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and other relevant therapeutic modalitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team membersAbility to provide compassionate patient care while fostering a supportive environment for individuals facing mental health challengesExcellent observational and assessment capabilities with a keen attention to detail in evaluating mental health needsJoin our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals seeking mental health support!
