Required Licensure : California professional civil engineer license, or able to obtain California license within six months
The Junior Geologist provides research, calculations, field support services, project coordination and report writing support to the Project Manager or Project Engineer / Geologist. Assignments generally may include, but are not limited to the preparation of calculations, research and investigations, field activities such as logging of soil lithology and well borings, conducting field soils / hydrogeological investigations, instrument deployment and data collection, data management and evaluations, preparation of exhibits, descriptions, letters, project memoranda and reports under the direct supervision of a Project Manager or Project Engineer / Geologist. Position requires good verbal and written communication skills. Position requires contact with firm's clients and local public agency personnel.
Your impact to our team
The ideal candidate will have experience in hydrogeology, groundwater modeling, geological / hydrogeological investigations, and site assessments. This role will support the planning, development, and execution of water infrastructure and sustainability projects with an emphasis on subsurface characterization and groundwater systems.

Compensation
Compensation package commensurate with experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
Salary Range is $65,000-$75,000 per year.
The position of Junior Geologist is a non-exempt position.
