- Salary $65,000–$95,000, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
Engage faculty, researchers, and students to understand research and instruction needs, build collaborations, and promote library services.Lead the Evidence Synthesis working group comprised of USF Libraries’ faculty.Collaborate with USF Libraries Research & Instruction colleagues on the three USF campuses on initiatives such as assessment, outreach, instruction, and research support.Develop a focused program of high-quality research and creative accomplishments required for promotion.Demonstrate leadership in professional responsibilities that serve USF Libraries, USF, the profession, and the community.Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in library / information science from an ALA-accredited institution and appropriate experience as a professional librarian consistent with university guidelines. Evidence of professional growth through publication, association activities, or other contributions to the field.Must meet university criteria for appointments to the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Librarian.Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in applying evidence synthesis and / or systematic review methodologies to support researchers.Demonstrated background in Psychology, Social / Behavioral Sciences, or Health disciplines.Experience providing information literacy instruction to undergraduate and graduate populations.Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build partnerships across the library and university.Demonstrated capacity for scholarly publications and presentations.Equal Employment Opportunity
