JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary / Objective : To work independently providing maintenance on commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience. In some situations may perform diagnostic calls. Systems sizes can go up to 50 tons. No chiller experience required!
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work : This is a full time position. General business hours are Monday - Friday, 8a - 5p with some weeknights, weekends and evenings.
Required Qualifications / Experience
- Must pass drug and background screens
- Valid driver's license and insurable through company insurance carrier
- Minimum of 1 year HVAC commercial service work
- Able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work with tools used in the job in a safe manner

Arrive at jobsite at scheduled time and location as dispatchedRelocate from one jobsite to another jobsite as dispatched during the workdayReport to dispatcher when arriving and leaving jobsiteOperate company vehicle as neededFollow instructions from supervisor and / or dispatcher and carry out in timely mannerReport problems with company tools or vehicle promptlyReport problems with equipment to Service Dispatcher to expedite parts deliveryCommunicate with customers and collect C.O.D. on maintenance and demand service visits as directedAbility to work staggered schedule if requiredMaintain professional appearance and attitude at all timesComplete all service related forms properlyProvide all customers with new / renew maintenance agreementsPerform routine preventative maintenance on light commercial equipment with minimal assistance and supervision, including completion of maintenance checklists in fullInform and educate customers on additional products or services available through companyInform customer of replacement options following company guidelinesOn call status for emergency service as requiredDevelop basic knowledge and ability to layout and install low voltage wiringDevelop basic knowledge of diagnostic and troubleshooting techniquesDevelop knowledge of proper interpretations of testing devicesDevelop soldering skillsDevelop enhanced customer service skills.Perform filter changes utilizing filter checklist paperwork unassistedDevelop skills to perform planned maintenance on light commercial systems utilizing maintenance checklist with assistance of a Service TechnicianInform and educate customers about commercial planned maintenance agreementsAcquire commercial planned maintenance agreementsDevelop basic knowledge and ability to read and interpret wiring diagramsOther duties as assignedCompetencies :

Work Environment : Environment consists of extreme variations due to conditions, including but not limited to : heat, cold, wet, wind, sunlight, absence of light, insects, animals, mammals, reptiles and other conditions deemed by worksite.
Physical Demands : Reaching, bending, stooping, walking, sitting, crawling, and squatting. Holding, carrying objects and lifting - including heavy objects such as equipment up to 200 pounds. Use of tools and equipment such as hand tools and ladders including extension ladders.
