RCM HealthCare Travel is seeking a local contract Occupational Therapist for a local contract job in Chicago, Illinois.

\n Occupational Therapist   School Year 25-26

\n

\n We are partnering with a Chicago school program to find outstanding Occupational Therapists for the 2025-2026 school year. Virtual school is an option (at school admin building).

\n

\n  Responsibilities :

\n

  • Occupational Therapist will be assigned a caseload upon mutual consider that best suits their skills and interests and the needs of the school district.

    • \n

  • OT will provide direct and consultative   services to students including screening, assessing, treating, and reporting as appropriate.

    • \n

  • Openings could include early learning programs though transitional classrooms with students of varying   diagnoses.

    • \n

  • Plan and present at IEP / Student conferences in consultation with staff.

    • \n

  • Monday-Friday as per school schedule. Full time (limited part time opportunities available).

    • \n

  • Multiple school sites including some consult only.

    • \n

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

    • \n

    \n Qualifications : \n

    \n

  • Hold IDFPR license as an Occupational Therapist.

    • \n

  • Experience working collaboratively in a student-centered environment.

    • \n

  • 1-2 years’ experience a plus. Will consider a new grad with appropriate clinical experience.

    • \n

  • Credentials to be collected prior to and upon hire.

    • \n

    \n Work Hours : \n

    \n

  • Follow school hours Monday-Friday; depending on the building’s hours. 6.25 paid hours per day. Start $42 / hour.

    • \n

  • @31hours per week.

    • \n

    \n Salary and Benefits :

    \n

    \n

  • $41 / hr for new grad, other salary based upon experience. Weekly pay.

    • \n

  • Full time employees eligible for : Medical, dental, vision, Long / short term disability, Life Insurance, 401k, Flexible and Child Care Spending Accounts. Paid Time off and sick time accrued. Virtual healthcare assistance available. Some benefits offered for part time employees.

  • Up to $300 of continuing ed / materials fund available for full time employees.
