Job Responsibilities :
- Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and drafting
- Project Management to include, schedule, budget, personnel, and resources
- Business development and relationship management for public and private clients
- Coordination and supervision of multiple crews and survey CAD technicians on day-to-day operations
- Perform other work as directed including assisting survey manager with estimates and proposals, preparing field packets, and compiling deliverables in CAD
- Creation of boundary, topographic, and easement maps
- Assist engineering & surveying management with requested assignments
Job Qualifications :
Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) required. Texas PLS license are preferredMust have experience building business relationships with current and potential clientMust have experience with Easement / Right-of Way Surveys, Plats, ALTAs, boundaries, property descriptions and topographic surveyExperience with CAD and survey computation software including Civil3D, Carlson Survey and Trimble Business CenterField experience operating survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, Scan Station, sUAS)Would like to add another RPLS to the teamPrepare final plats, title surveys, easements, right-of-way dedications, etc.Prepare construction staking files (CSV's / RXL's) for field crewsPerform office computations for boundary surveys, carry surveys to final completionVerify project managers have provided all necessary information with survey request prior to work being assigned to field crewsMaintain filing system for completed surveys, field notes, and field booksProvide ownership, utility, and other data research in support of survey projectsRile plats with governmental agencies and be responsible for meeting document requirements.Effective communication skills with all levels of employees within an organizationAttention to detail & ability to efficiently resolve problemsProficiency in AutoCad Civil 3D is requiredLeadership abilities, eager to learn, and a positive "do whatever it takes" attitudeMust be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and / or on a daily basis as changes occur in project needsAbility to work on multiple projects at one timeMaintain respectable work attireSurvey experience is preferred
