The Senior Sales Operations Manager will have deep expertise in CRM software to lead sales process optimization, CRM management, performance reporting, and training initiatives. This strategic and hands-on role will serve as a key partner to Sales leaders, driving operational excellence while ensuring the sales team is fully enabled, trained, and equipped for success across the company.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Own the configuration, optimization, and administration of the CRM system.
- Ensure CRM accurately captures sales activity, pipeline status, and customer journey data.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure integrations with marketing automation, support platforms, and financial systems are seamless.
- Develop and manage dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting for sales leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews and deliver insights to improve forecasting accuracy and sales productivity.
- Standardize and document scalable sales processes and workflows.
- Identify and implement process improvements that shorten sales cycles and increase win rates.
- Oversee territory and quota planning, ensuring equitable and data-driven assignment strategies.
- Design and deliver sales onboarding programs for new hires, including CRM usage, sales playbooks, tools, and internal processes.
- Develop ongoing training for sales reps and managers on CRM best practices, pipeline management, reporting tools, and updates to systems or processes.
- Deliver training remotely and in person across the company's footprint.
- Work closely with Sales Enablement, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure reps are equipped with up-to-date messaging, collateral, and positioning.
- Maintain and improve a knowledge base or training library accessible to all sales team members.
- Track training effectiveness and adoption of tools / processes, providing follow-up coaching and support as needed.
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Product to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.
- Support go-to-market readiness, including product launches, campaign execution, and changes in pricing or incentive structure.
- Own and manage the sales tech stack including CRM, forecasting tools, sales engagement platforms and data enrichment tools.
- Evaluate new tools and technologies that can improve sales team effectiveness.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned to support organizational objectives.
Education & Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Operations within a CRM software environment.2+ years leadership experience.Experience leading training initiatives and supporting organizational change.Competence with business technology systems and end-user support.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.Expertise in administering and optimizing CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).Proven experience designing and delivering effective sales onboarding and training programs.Strong analytical and data visualization skills; proficient with Excel, Google Sheets and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc).Familiarity with sales enablement tools, LMS platforms, and performance tracking systems.Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.Other Duties :
