General Summary :

Assist in supervision of warehouse employees with the direction of the warehouse supervisor. Position is responsible for filling orders, scheduling personnel and making sure all materials are handled in a safe and productive manner. Position is responsible for warehouse operations when the warehouse manager is absent.

Principle Duties and Job Responsibilities :

• Coordinate daily work schedule
• Assign dock doors for inbound and outbound loads
• Sign drivers into and out of the warehouse
• Provide fill in when vacancies are encountered
• Record daily temperature and humidity readings and coordinate repairs when problems are identified
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Monitor warehouse cleanliness and compliance with company operational policies
• Assist Inventory control and Export coordinator when needed
• Assist with all administrative duties specific to the operation of the warehouse
