Job Description

A confidential defense company is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operators to join its high-performance freight handling team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dock or warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move palletized and non-palletized freight.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools, straps, and supplies.

Use handheld scanning devices to track, identify, and record shipments.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dock area in all weather conditions.

Follow company safety policies and OSHA standards at all times.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate freight movement.

Qualifications :

Must be at least 18 years old .

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally .

Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Basic math skills (with or without a calculator).

Prior forklift or dock experience in transportation, logistics, or LTL environments preferred.

VantageClear Certification (or equivalent security clearance) required.
