Sales Attorney for Criminal Defense Firm

Michael and Associates is a forward-thinking criminal defense firm seeking a motivated Sales / Intake Attorney to lead our client acquisition initiatives. About This Role

As a Sales / Intake Attorney , you are the first point of contact for prospective clients, representing our firm’s mission and values from the very first interaction. Your primary responsibility is to connect with individuals seeking legal support—many of whom are navigating highly emotional and complex situations. Through empathetic listening, thoughtful assessment of their circumstances, and clear communication about how our firm can assist, you build a strong foundation of trust. Your ability to lead these early conversations with professionalism and care has a lasting influence on the client’s experience and sets the tone for their journey with our firm.

Job Responsibilities

Client Acquisition

Conduct approximately 20 daily consultations with pre-qualified prospective clients. Your primary objective will be to assess their legal needs, clearly articulate our firm’s value proposition, and efficiently onboard them into our system.

Legal Expertise & Education

Gain a strong understanding of criminal law and Michael & Associates’ unique legal strategies. This foundation will enable you to confidently address client inquiries and guide them toward appropriate next steps.

Client Assurance & Support

Understand the emotional challenges clients face when dealing with criminal charges. Approach each interaction with empathy, professionalism, and clarity—offering reassurance, building trust, and helping clients feel supported from the very first conversation.

Brand Advocacy

Serve as the initial representative of Michael & Associates, embodying our core values and our commitment to Zealous Advocacy . Your professionalism and communication will shape the client’s first impression and set the tone for their experience with the firm.

Requirements

• Passion for Client Engagement

You should genuinely enjoy phone-based interactions and building rapport with clients. Prior experience in client consultations or sales is essential.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must. You’ll need to be both empathetic and persuasive—capable of clearly presenting our services and addressing any questions or concerns potential clients may have.

Benefits

Competitive Salary Range : $130000– $200000 per year  (depending on experience and performance)
