Job Summary
Community Clinic is seeking a skilled and productive Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in facilities maintenance, general repairs, and customer service. This role is crucial in ensuring the operational efficiency of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and conducting basic repairs. This position is based out of Siloam Springs but will regularly travel other locations in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and upkeep on Community Clinic buildings, equipment, and property including but not limited to drywall repair, painting, door repair, signage, furniture installation, etc.
- Travel between locations in Northwest Arkansas and Northeast Oklahoma as needed (must have reliable transportation, mileage reimbursement available).
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting, to ensure optimal functioning and prevent downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory of necessary supplies and tools.
- Respond to basic maintenance requests promptly and effectively. You may need to assemble furniture, patch dry wall, install basic appliances / machines, paint, clean, etc.
Qualifications
1+ years of maintenance professional experience maintenance role required. Preferably in a health care setting with staff and patients present.Strong attention to detail.Must be reliable and dependable; proven attendance / punctuality ; consistent performance; effective follow up and follow-through.Ability to work and function independently and within a team.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds.Excellent verbal and written communication ability in English.Can be based anywhere in Northwest Arkansas, if willing to travel, but more time than not will be in Western Benton County / Eastern Oklahoma locations (e.g. Siloam Springs, Gentry, Grove, Kansas).Why work for Community Clinic?
