Digital UI Designer - Position Summary : Join our team as a dynamic and driven Digital UI Designer, where you'll lead our website experience design. You'll partner closely with product design and agile development teams to blend usability and user-centered design into our product development process. This role focuses on internal UI layout and UX design, customer research, usability testing and analysis, information architecture, and content strategy. You'll create both low and high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and concepts that resonate with users and enhance their interactions.

- Target salary range $75,000 - $90,000 based on experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Seek out creative, design-led solutions to challenging problems.Deliver detailed experiences, including wireframes, user flows, UI specifications, clickable prototypes, research, and interaction.Create rapid prototypes to validate design concepts.Create and communicate compelling digital experience vision and strategies.Stay up-to-date with the latest UI / UX trends, front-end techniques and technologies.Collaborate with UX team members to ensure the overall design is consistent with established styles and usability best practices.Contribute to the development of a digital / UX style guide to maintain consistency across multiple products and channels and to ensure overall design greatness.Analyze user interfaces and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.Suggest UI / UX improvements for existing and future products.Use client usage metrics, industry research and competitive information to create new or improved experiences, while considering business needs, cost-benefit, risk-reward analysis, and alternative solutions.Required Skills / Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.3 years minimum experience in user interface design, information architecture, visual design, web design and usability research.Clear understanding of digital trends and technology landscape.Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite.Proficiency in XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.Web / mobile user interface design knowledge / experience.Experience in building interactive prototypes.Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.Solid understanding of responsive design, with a focus on mobile devices.Ability to communicate design ideas clearly and defend recommendations across cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders.Problem-solving and negotiation skills to resolve difficult issues.Proven ability to work in a project-based environment with quick turns and tight deadlines; prioritize work to drive impact.Demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives and deliver impactful presentations.Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development process is a plus.Working knowledge of CSS3 / HTML5 is a plus.Ability to work independently under limited supervision.Demonstrates the Core Values of Delta Defense, LLC.Work Location
We welcome applications from remote candidates but offer preferred consideration to those who can work at our headquarters in West Bend, Wisconsin. For a hybrid schedule, expect in-office work three days a week. Remote candidates must be able to travel to HQ for onsite work 1-3 times per quarter and accommodate CST working hours.
