Start Date :  10 / 13

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Nights, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM, every other weekend required, call shifts 2x per scheduled period

Requirements :

2+ years Labor & Delivery RN experience

Active AR or multistate RN license

ACLS, BLS, NRP required

Postpartum experience preferred

Role Overview :

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care. The RN utilizes the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Responsibilities include :

Demonstrating critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning safe delivery of care

Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education

Delegating patient care priorities appropriate to staff education and experience

Providing direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
