Job Title : Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of production machinery and plant facilities. This position requires a strong commitment to upholding established safety, health, and quality standards, as well as company policies and procedures. The role involves performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, and maintain production machines, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Understand, follow, and enforce all established safety, health, quality, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.
• Set up and troubleshoot packaging machines and lines.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.
• Regulate machine flow or speed.
• Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during operation and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Apply mechanical skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Work Environment

The work environment is very clean and well-lit, reminiscent of a coffee and bakery shop. The GMP environment features gravity-fed high-speed packaging equipment, primarily handling dry goods like powders. The facility offers ample space with plans for expansion. There are openings on the 2nd shift from 2 : 00 pm to 10 : 30 pm and the 3rd shift from 10 : 00 pm to 6 : 30 am, with overtime available after shifts and major projects scheduled on weekends.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 / hr.
