Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Respiratory Therapist, located in Aurora, NE. The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders. Daily tasks include administering respiratory therapy treatments, operating equipment such as ventilators, closely monitoring patients' cardiopulmonary systems, providing care to patients in neonatal intensive care units, and collaborating with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Care Program and NBRC registry or equivalent
• Three (3) years of experience as a respiratory care practitioner in an acute medical setting
• Current License to practice Respiratory Therapy in Nebraska, RRT Certified
• Basic Life Support (BLS), and ACLS / PALS within 6 months of hire
• Skills in Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Therapy
• Experience in Respiratory Care and Medicine
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
