As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and providing outstanding customer service while using technology such as computers or tablets. Pay Rate : $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

Fri 09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

Sat 09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
  • Assist with the enforcement of location policies and procedures related to access control and visitor management.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with location staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and incidents.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
