Requirements to apply

  • Active and unrestricted California MD license
  • Board Certified in Psychiatry
  • Valid DEA registration
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
  • Experience with underserved populations and FQHCs preferred
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred

Full-time Psychiatry opportunity delivering comprehensive, integrated mental health care services within a mission-driven, outpatient Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting, focused on improving community behavioral health outcomes and providing accessible, patient-centered psychiatric care.

Job Overview

We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatrist to join a multidisciplinary care team in an outpatient Federally Qualified Health Center. You’ll perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, manage pharmacologic treatments, and provide supportive therapy for patients with diverse behavioral health needs. This role is key in advancing whole-person care for vulnerable populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals, people living with HIV / AIDS, and medically underserved communities. You’ll collaborate with clinicians across primary care, social services, and behavioral health, helping to improve outcomes through a team-based, trauma-informed approach.
