Description
Our Family Preservation program provides short-term, family-focused services designed to assist families in crisis by improving parenting and family function while keeping children safe. The clinical services are based on the family's needs. No arbitrary productivity requirements. Full time position available.
We are currently looking for a Licensed or License-Eligible Clinician (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, etc.) to serve on our Family Preservation team. This person would be working with the family in their home, using key skills such as compassion, listening skills, therapy, and counseling techniques, and evidence-based practices such as 123 Magic, Motivational interviewing, and Trauma-Focused CBT. In Person setting! With the option to conduct some services via Telehealth
This position serves as integral member of the treatment team where safety and well-being of youth and all members of the family unit are paramount. The Mental Health Clinician will provide clinical services to youth and families to promote healthy, age-appropriate development for youth and families and support, advocate and refer families to community resources / services to support family self-sufficiency. Must be willing to flex schedule accordingly to provide services, on-call support, case management, and comprehensive care to individuals and families. The Clinicians will serve in region 1 of Indiana. Counties listed here : DCS : Local DCS Offices

Comply with all Service Standards to ensure the health and safety of all individuals in service.Participate in the completion and implementation of a comprehensive individualized assessment and service plansAttend and actively participate in all meetings with the Department of Child Services / Juvenile Justice for the development of safety planning for assigned cases.Establish and maintain routine collaborative meetings with community partnersComplete standardized test(s) and structured interviews as needed to assess parent-child-family functioning to identify treatment goals, treatment recommendations and intervention techniques.Complete written reports and / or testify at legal proceedings regarding the findings and recommendations of the Parent / Family Functioning assessment.Apply evidence-based practices for identified behavioral health issues.Knowledge of care coordination techniques in assessing the needs of individuals and determining interventions to address service gaps.Demonstrate flexibility in job duties and schedule in order to appropriately serve individuals and families in serviceAllow for flexibility in scheduling to accommodate crisis situations for individuals.Document all case activity in accordance with program policy and maintain case records in compliance with agency, regulatory and accreditation standards.Provide on-call support for all assigned individuals and families.Ensure individuals are linked with appropriate follow-up services prior to discharge, i.e., medical, social, mental health, substance use, academic, vocational.Submit all service logs and and / or outcome reports to KidTraks, or another database specified by DCS, according to DCS Service Standards.For a full and complete list, please contact HRQualifications : Minimum :
Current licensure as LMSW, LAMFT or LAPC in state of IndianaMaintain active licenseCPR / Basic First AidNon-violent crisis de-escalation and intervention training, e.g., CPI, with annual recertification trainingValid driver's license and auto insuranceExperience providing outpatient mental health services to youth and / or families.Must be computer literatePreferred :
