Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the upcoming school year. This contract role runs from ASAP through the end of the school year and focuses on supporting students in grades 6-8. The role is well suited for educators with experience in behavioral instruction and classroom management.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide targeted behavioral interventions to support student progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to adapt curriculum and instruction
• Monitor and document student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
