Supply Risk Analyst

The Supply Risk Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing advanced statistical risk analytics to forecast and mitigate supply chain risks at both engine and component levels. This role requires a resourceful, innovative mindset to design and optimize processes for supply signal, risk visibility, and closure. The analyst will leverage digital tools, cloud-based platforms, and supply chain software to drive resilience, operational excellence, and adherence to SIOP growth policies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Use data from digital tools and cloud-based platforms to forecast supply risks at engine and component levels with a focus on MRO and spare part customers.
  • Build predictive models and algorithms to identify vulnerabilities and optimize decision-making.
  • Ensure risk visibility and closure through balancing and collaboration with product lines and supply chain teams.
  • Innovate solutions to align spares demand with supply chain capacity, leveraging a "hacker" mindset to solve complex challenges.
  • Be a part of the team that owns, updates, and ensures compliance with SIOP policies while aligning with organizational objectives.
  • Proactively identify gaps and implement solutions to improve policy adherence.
  • Lead initiatives such as long-range forecasting (LRF) analysis, buffer stock alignment, and process improvements.
  • Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies to optimize inventory and support long-term resource planning.
  • Work across product lines and supply chain teams to drive consensus and strategic alignment, facilitating balancing and reconciliation topics as part of the SIOP team.
  • Foster collaboration and build connections between diverse groups to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, risk management, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in statistical tools, cloud-based platforms, and supply chain software (e.g., APS, ATLAS).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across product lines and supply chain teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive strategic alignment.
  • Leadership ability to proactively connect diverse groups and drive collaboration and consensus building.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing, SIOP, planning, and materials management processes and policies.
  • Experience in buffer stock management and long-range forecasting (LRF) processes.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate supply chain risks effectively.
  • APICS CPIM Certification.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills : Ability to think like a "hacker" to creatively address supply chain challenges and develop resourceful solutions.
  • Experience driving collaboration across divergent groups and aligning teams to a consensus plan.
  • Experience and exposure to MRO and / or aftermarket
