Job Overview HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their West Florida Division is seeking a solo pathology medical director to be based at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital which is located on the coast about an hour northeast of Tampa. The successful candidate must work cooperatively within diverse environments, have excellent interpersonal skills, and successfully establish and maintain positive relationships with hospital medical staff, technical staff and referring physicians

Position Highlights

• Qualified Candidates :
• At least three years of hospital-based experience is preferred
• Active Florida Medical License and / or FCVS is a plus
• Comfortable with the full scope of AP and CP
• Volumes – approximately 3,500 surgical cases per year and 600 non-gyn cytology cases per year
