Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI / UX Developer to join their team.

This role focuses on designing intuitive user interfaces through wireframing and prototyping, while also supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality user experiences.

Knowledge of Salesforce applications and proficiency in Figma are considered strong advantages.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize user journeys and interface layouts.
  • Translate business and user requirements into clean, functional designs.
  • Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and aligned with usability best practices.
  • Develop and execute UAT test plans, scripts, and scenarios.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate functionality and user experience.
  • Document feedback, track issues, and support resolution efforts.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams to align design and testing efforts.
  • Present design concepts and UAT findings to stakeholders for review and iteration.
  • Salesforce Application Support (Preferred)
  • Understand Salesforce UI components and design principles.
  • Assist in designing user interfaces for Salesforce applications, including Lightning components and Visualforce pages.
  • Use Figma to create and manage design systems, prototypes, and collaborative workflows.
  • Maintain version control and design documentation within Figma.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 3+ years of experience in UI / UX design and wireframing.
  • Hands-on experience with UAT planning and execution.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    • PREFERRED SKILLS :

  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).
  • Proficiency in Figma for design and collaboration.
  • Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with usability testing and user research.
  • NO THIRD PARTIES!  Employer is a government entity.  Must be local to Reston as the role requires being on site 3 days a week.  This is a 6month contract opportunity.
