Maintenance Supervisor

We are currently searching for Maintenance Supervisor to join our manufacturing team .
Maintenance Supervisor Focus Area
The Maintenance Supervisor will lead, support, coach, and coordinates the activities of the maintenance technicians by fully aligning with Safety, Quality, and Production in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining plant assets. This role will report to the Director Of Maintenance.
Description and Responsibilities
- Train, coach, and evaluate direct reports
- Direct supervisor maintenance technicians and maintenance parts clerk
- Supervisor the installation, repair of equipment and facilities
- Assist in equipment layout
- Oversee equipment installation and improvement of equipment
- Monitor production lines operation to uphold peak performance of assets
- Ensures correct parts and consumables are included in all job plans
- Develop and document preventative maintenance program
- Record and analyze equipment related downtime and provide root cause analysis
- Communicate in verbal and written form cross functionally
- Review work orders to determine priority
- Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tool, and equipment by delegating work assignments
- Prepare department budget and monitors expenditures
- Directs maintenance functions and oversees activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of HVAC, steam, electric power, gas, and other required services
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
5+ years of experienceSufficient Manual dexterity and visual acuityMust have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other Microsoft applications.Food Manufacturing background is preferredStrong leadership skillsUnderstanding of precision, preventative maintenance programStrong decision-making skillsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsPLC knowledge, preferredExperience working in an industrial or manufacturing setting preferred.Physical Demands of the Position : While performing the duties of this position, the employee must be able to see, speak, hear, read, type, walk, and reach with hands and arms for long periods. The employee must be able to pull, push, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, balance, and lift in excess of 50 lbs. There is extensive walking required.
