Temporary / Full Time

Monday-Friday 8 : 30AM-5PM

$25.00-28.00. / hr depending on experience

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Temporary Leasing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with housing program regulations, managing lease renewals and certifications, and overseeing move-ins and move-outs. You will also play a key role in minimizing vacancy rates by efficiently leasing apartments and achieving occupancy goals.

Key responsibilities include :

Administering compliance for housing programs, including lease renewals, recertifications, interims, and move-ins / move-outs.
Preparing and submitting weekly vacancy reports.
Providing support and back-up for the Community Manager.
Collecting rents and managing delinquent accounts in a timely and efficient manner.
Coordinating all marketing efforts for vacant units, including social media postings.
Promoting positive relationships with residents and the public.

To be successful in this role, you will need :

2+ years of prior apartment leasing experience.

Experience with Low Income Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accurate data entry skills.

Familiarity with Yardi Voyager software or other housing software programs is preferred.

Excellent customer service skills to interact with residents, prospects, visitors, regulatory representatives, and team members.

Strong written and oral communication, time management, and organizational skills.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A High School diploma / GED equivalent is required; some college is a plus.

Bi-lingual Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.
