Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

For the 20252026 school year, we are hiring a full-time SLP to serve a school district in Calumet City, IL. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that spans Early Childhood through 8th grade.

Position Details

Location : Calumet City, IL

Schedule : MondayFriday | 33.75 hours per week | Full School Year

Dates : September 15, 2025 June 3, 2026

Setting : Onsite only

Caseload : District-wide | Early Childhood 8th Grade

Pay Range : $40.92 $60.92 per hour

What Youll Do

Provide speech-language therapy services to students in Early Childhood through 8th grade

Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and deliver therapy in both individual and group settings

Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and district requirements

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement

Active SLP license through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)

School-based experience preferred

Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
