Description :

This position is for a Wound Care RN with expertise in assessing and managing complex wound care needs.

The RN will work with diverse patient demographics, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Daily responsibilities include conducting assessments, applying wound care methodologies, and educating patients and families.

The role involves advanced wound care practices such as Negative Pressure Wound Therapy and ostomy care management.

The RN will monitor and interpret vital signs, assess patient's nutritional status, and manage pain associated with wound care.

The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective and comprehensive wound management strategies.

The position does not require the clinician to float, ensuring stable work within the specified specialty area.

Participation in continuing education related to wound care will be encouraged to maintain and enhance clinical skills.

Additional responsibilities may include training peers and providing leadership within the nursing specialty.
