A company is looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel - Benefits to provide legal guidance on employee benefit plans and programs.
Key Responsibilities
Advise internal teams on the design, administration, and compliance of U.S. employee benefit plans
Provide legal advice on employee leaves of absence and ensure compliance with applicable laws
Monitor legislative developments affecting employee benefits and recommend appropriate actions
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school
Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
Minimum 8 years of experience as an attorney, primarily in employee benefits
Strong knowledge of U.S. benefit and leave laws, including ERISA and ADA
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
