Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Estimator with a robust background in both structural steel and concrete structures to join a reputable general contractor in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our pre-construction phase, responsible for providing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for a variety of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Estimation Expertise : Develop detailed cost estimates for structural steel and concrete construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness in line with project requirements.
Bid Preparation : Lead the preparation of competitive bids by collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather essential information.
Risk Assessment : Conduct thorough risk assessments and value engineering analyses to identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety standards.
Project Collaboration : Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project specifications and provide timely, informed estimates.
Market Research : Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and material costs to maintain a competitive edge and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Proposal Development : Contribute to the development of comprehensive proposals, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Lead Estimator with expertise in both structural steel and concrete construction.

Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software and tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Thorough understanding of construction industry regulations and best practices.
