Job Summary
- Seeking a Systems Engineer to support a Data Modeling team that is focused on modernizing business IT systems that currently span multiple databases, user interfaces, and data formats
- This role is key to the successful migration of business data from legacy systems to a new platform
Primary Responsibilities
Develop system architectures, specifications, and technical requirements to meet business and project objectivesSupport the integration of hardware, software, networks, and security systems into cohesive solutionsOversee system development, testing, deployment, and maintenance activitiesPerform trade studies, risk assessments, and system performance evaluationsDevelop and maintain system documentation, interface control documents, and configuration management recordsWork closely with software, hardware, and network engineering teams to ensure successful system deliveryEnsure systems adhere to relevant standards, regulations, and cybersecurity best practicesRequired Qualifications
Must have active Top Secret / SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph7 years' experience with a Bachelor's in Computer Science (or related field) or 12 years' experience without the degreeExperience with database design and modelingExperience utilizing SQL within relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, Postgres)Experience reverse engineering systems in both front-end and back-end capacitiesExperience with data analysis and visualization, data normalization and cleansing, and data securityDesired Qualifications
Knowledge of existing BM&A systemsExempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD / LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The pay range for this role is :
90,000 - 165,000 USD per year(Maryland Office )
