job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMonitor and control access to the distribution facility, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location. Assist with security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity. Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed. Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to company and client guidelines. Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as required. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Job Description
As a Security Professional - Logistics Patrol in Minooka, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all personnel and visitors. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, working in an environment where people come first and teamwork and integrity are at the core of everything we do.

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
