Overview
Provide live-in supervision of residence hall facility, staff, and residential students; maintain a safe and secure living environment for residential students; strictly monitor the hallways and exit doors of assigned residence halls; maintain availability and accessibility to residents and supervisor; demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and concerns of the students; coordinate production of Residential Life publications (i.e, monthly calendar, handbook, oversee programs, assist with leadership development efforts (workshops, publications, retreats, etc.) Participate in long-range planning, policies development); Be available for evenings, weekends, and special University Events as required, Advice residence hall councils,Serve as judicial hearing officer, investigate reports of misconduct and recommend appropriate disciplinary actions, perform other administrative duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; considerable experience in the area of Residential Life and Student Housing; demonstrated experience in student organization leadership, student development, training, and leadership development.Ability to work effectively with students, faculty and administration, and the community.Sensitivity and commitment to working with a diverse population.Basic computer skills to include working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Email, strong written and oral communication skills.Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree preferred, At least two years of related work experience preferredPhysical Demands
