About The Position

Experience : Minimum of 3 years cardiac step-down experience

License : Active Registered Nurse license

Certifications : BLS and ACLS required

Must-Have : Experience with Open-Heart, Vents, and Epic EMR

Description :

Available start date is 10 / 20.

No other date is viable.

The RN will work 36 hours per week on night shift (7 PM to 7 : 30 AM).

The RN will typically work every third weekend and cover one holiday, but this is subject to change based on census and staffing.

There is no on-call required, but the RN may be asked to take a rare call day during times of fluctuating census / staffing.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of three years of experience with heart cath recovery, cardiac drips, post-operative open heart patients, and other cardiac / med-surg step-down patients.

The RN will be required to float to other units during times of low volumes or coverage crisis, although this is not expected.
