Requirements :

Job Essential Functions :

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations.

Formulate and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies.

Administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and treatment options.

Document all patient interactions and care plans in electronic health records (EHR).

Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :

Education : Master’s degree in Nursing (for ACNP) or relevant PA program.

Certification : Current certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).

Licensure : Valid Texas state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Experience :

Skills : Strong clinical assessment skills, ability to work independently, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities.

PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS :

Requires, standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, twisting. Requires full range of motion, manual dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. May require helping lift / transfer patients. Requires ability to deal with stress from dealing with multiple tasks, irregular hours, tense patients, and unexpected emergencies
