RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - Stepdown

Job Details :

  • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
  • Neuro Stepdown unit with 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be indicated on submission)
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Weekend hours required every other weekend
  • No call requirements
  • Patient ratios of 1 : 3-4 on a 10-bed unit
  • Float requirements within service line including cardiac stepdown, surgical stepdown, and medical stepdown
  • Night shift orientation occurs on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation
  • Required certifications : BLS and ACLS from AHA only
  • Current RN license required (must meet Missouri licensure criteria)
  • Minimum 1 year stepdown experience required (inpatient only)
  • Neuro and trauma experience preferred
  • Work with neurological disorders, strokes, and trauma patients
  • Equipment includes hard-wired monitoring, chest tubes, and subdural drains
  • EPIC EMR system
  • Dress code requires black scrubs only
  • Auto-offer position with flexible scheduling options available
  • Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1
