Hasbani & Light, P.C. is seeking top-tier default litigators in various jurisdictions. We offer highly competitive compensation for the right candidates. Ideal applicants are sharp, motivated, and hardworking professionals who thrive in a collaborative environment alongside other accomplished attorneys.

The role requires a skilled litigator with experience handling a broad range of matters, including contested motions, appeals, and evidentiary hearings.

Responsibilities :

  • Draft motions, briefs, and memoranda of law
  • Conduct in-depth legal research
  • Handle a wide range of court appearances, including high-level contested motions and evidentiary hearings
  • Respond to discovery requests and engage in motion practice
  • Take full ownership of contested matters, including developing and executing legal strategies

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience independently handling contested motion practice
  • Admitted to practice in New York State and Federal Courts (required); admission in New Jersey and / or Florida is a plus
  • Open to seeking admission or waiving into additional jurisdictions as needed
  • Exceptional legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
  • Strong ability to identify and resolve complex legal issues efficiently
  • Comfortable managing a demanding caseload and producing high volumes of quality work
