Key Responsibilities

The Operations Route Driver is responsible for :

  • Loading, driving, and delivering food to the various CoCuisine accounts and vending warehouses.
  • The day-of responsibilities begin at our Innovation Center completing loading processes for food, as well as going through all route specific paperwork assuring all required items are loaded.
  • When the driver is delivering food for their routes, they are responsible for ensuring each account gets the correct food on time, while complying with food safety guidelines. This Operations Route Driver reports directly to the Operations General Manager.

    • Daily Operations

  • Must show up for each shift on time.
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and a desire to be a team player.
  • Must represent the Continental brand by following proper uniform policy.
  • Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve all standards of operation.
  • Appropriately follow all health and food safety requirements through every aspect of this role.
  • Drive company vehicles to and from Continental dining accounts, vending warehouses, event locations, and other Continental buildings.
  • Properly load truck with all food items designated for assigned route.
  • Deliver the correct food to each location within the assigned time frame.
  • Communicate any issues or potential issues immediately to the manager.
  • Properly process distributing equipment and dirty food at the end of each day.
  • Support with food production sort, assist in the 601 Events Warehouse, and on events as needed.
  • Provide feedback on process improvements and strive to maximize productivity.
  • Support other divisions within Continental in any necessary capacity, in order to assure the success for the company as whole.
