Team Leader Landscape & Hardscape

Requirements / Expectations for The Grounds Guys of Mason Team Leader :

• At least 2 years' experience in landscape and hardscape.
• At least 2 years' experience in driving a truck with experience in hauling both a box and dump trailers.
• A reliable vehicle to bring you to work every day.
• A valid driver's license.
• Wear team shirt and khaki pants daily and making sure entire team is in uniform and wearing proper PPE.
• Ability to download and use scheduling / timesheet app.
• Ability to keep team on track to finish jobs within allotted timeframe.
• Former employer recommendation with work phone number to call for reference.
• Organizing daily jobs and managing co-workers to complete work in the most efficient and timely manner.
• Creating a healthy rapport with our owner and effectively and quickly communicating with him often.
• Leading morning and evening team huddles to prepare for each day and close out each day.
• Responsible to make sure equipment is cleaned, stored, locked up, and cared for properly at the end of each day.
• Responsible for making sure each employee takes a 30 minute lunch and clocking in / out accordingly.
• Meeting with clients at the end of each job to walk the property and make any adjustments needed.

Position starts at $20-$23 / hour depending on experience.
