This role involves assisting in the management of the daily operations of our delivery business, optimizing processes, and contributing to the overall efficiency of Shipt. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in operations management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. This position may include working on-site in a warehouse environment, providing support to delivery partners. In this role, you will assist in overseeing and managing day-to-day operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. You will monitor and manage performance metrics to meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and address operational issues in a timely manner. Analyzing delivery operations to identify opportunities for process improvement and using data to drive continuous improvement initiatives are key aspects of the role. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment with operational goals and objectives and maintain high levels of retail partner satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. Acting as a liaison between Shipt, retailers, and delivery partners will also be a critical function. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting regular reports on delivery performance and operational improvements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, assisting in inventory and resource management, and monitoring operational costs to meet budgetary constraints. What You'll Need To Be Successful
Bachelor's degree or a related field with equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in retail-tech operations, logistics, or a related field with a focus on last-mile delivery preferred.
Strong understanding of operational processes and best practices.
Ability to work within a warehouse environment to provide support to delivery partners and ensure safety best practices and policies are being followed accordingly.
Proven ability to support projects, coordinate teams, and drive process improvements.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Google Workspace and data analysis tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Work Arrangement
Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader. Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis. Other compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus and the potential for restricted stock units based on role.

$62,200-$124,600
All other locations :
$51,400-$102,900
Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
