Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title : Med / Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Assignment Type : Travel Nurse Location : Prince Frederick, MD 20678 (Maryland nursing jobs) Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : February 9, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Nights, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour shifts) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,760–$1,890 per week Patient Ratio : 1 : 6 Weekend Requirement : Yes Floating : Required to other Med / Surg Telemetry floors Scrubs : Royal Blue Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Maryland or compact state) BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred Minimum 3 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience required; 4 years preferred Experience with patient ratios of 1 : 5 or higher preferred COVID-19 vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Ability to float between similar Med / Surg Tele units as needed First-time travel nurses not accepted Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adolescent, adult, pediatric (minimal), and geriatric patients Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry; respond promptly to changes in patient condition Administer medications, perform patient assessments, and document nursing care accurately Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy Provide care for patients with med / surg, postoperative, and COVID-19 diagnoses Float to other Med / Surg Telemetry units as required Participate in orientation and complete required modules prior to assignment start Experience the best of Maryland nursing jobs in Prince Frederick—a welcoming community with scenic parks, friendly neighborhoods, and easy access to Chesapeake Bay.
