Job Description

Stafford Leavitt, an affiliate of Leavitt Group, in Harrisonville, MO, is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team.

This position will work closely with the commercial lines manager to provide ongoing support to their commercial accounts.

Responsibilities include :

• Prepare applications for submission with underwriting information provided by the producer.
• Maintain daily communication with the Commercial Lines Account Manager and Commercial Lines Manager regarding deadlines and ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with the service staff to meet timelines.
• Collaborate with the assigned Commercial Lines Account Manager and Account Executive on marketing procedures with selected markets.
• Follow up with markets for quotations.
• Create proposals under the direction of the Account Executive.
• Prepare proposal booklets.
• Check for discrepancies between submission, quotation, and proposal.
• Make proposal changes and quotations based on client meetings with the producer.
• Work with the producer to provide insurance binders and obtain client sign-off.
• Issue certificates.
• Verify policies against submission, quotation, and proposal.
• Process invoices.
• Check endorsements as per Account Executive requests.
