What You'll Do

Direct and coordinate nursing care, ensuring patient outcomes through teamwork.
Involve patients and families in care, including teaching and discharge planning.
Communicate care plans with healthcare team members effectively.
Assist leadership in defining excellence in patient care and participate in quality improvement.
Engage in daily operational activities to maintain a safe environment.
Provide input on unit needs to the Nurse Manager.
Participate in committees for nursing and hospital policy formulation.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with no prior RN experience.

Valid RN License from Virginia or a reciprocal compact state.

BSN preferred.

AHA BLS Provider CPR certification required at hire.

AHA ACLS Provider certification required within 1 year.

NIHSS (Bluecloud) certification required within 90 days.
