job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe any unusual conditions. Assist with access control, visitor management, and other security-related duties as assigned by Allied Universal or site management. Document and report any incidents, observations, or issues encountered during patrols in accordance with Allied Universal protocols. Work collaboratively with other team members and site personnel to support a secure environment within the tech, media, or telecom location. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Experience providing customer service is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Job Description
As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol - Tech in Flat Rock, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, interacting with visitors and employees, and providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling by vehicle as required. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
