Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled RF Leakage Test Engineer to perform detection, measurement, and troubleshooting of RF signal leakage in cable television (CATV) and coaxial distribution networks. This role is critical to maintaining regulatory compliance, preventing interference with licensed services, and ensuring superior service quality for broadband, telephony, and video networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform RF leakage detection and testing using advanced instruments such as Trilithic / VIAVI leakage detectors (Searcher / Seeker series).
• Conduct drive-out (field) testing covering large sections of the network to identify and log leakage points.
• Use channel tagging technology to accurately pinpoint leaks and distinguish from external signals.
• Document and report leakage severity, time, and GPS location data in compliance with FCC / DoT / ITU standards.
• Monitor and maintain the Cumulative Leakage Index (CLI) within permissible limits.
• Support periodic audits and regulatory inspections by providing accurate reports.
• Collaborate with network engineers, field technicians, and compliance teams to ensure end-to-end network integrity.
